Editorial Guidelines

Spirit of Change accepts article submissions of 500-5000 words for review on any topic of the author's choosing that is educational, entertaining or inspirational. Please do not limit yourself to the themes listed above. We cover all topics related to holistic living.

We do not print press releases or articles of an advertorial nature which are primarily intended as a promotion for any one product, practitioner, event or therapeutic modality. No cash payment is offered for articles printed, although authors may include their professional bio and contact information at end of the article. Advertisers in Spirit of Change receive priority consideration for editorial space and review.

Space Available essays and poems from 25-2500 words are printed in a special section each issue. Illustrations are also accepted. Please try to keep our themes in mind for your submissions.

Letters to the Editor are an essential community resource. Express your thoughts and opinions. Share tips and insights. Please keep letters to the editor under 500 words. These may be mailed, faxed to 508-278-9641 or emailed to info@spiritofchange.org. (Do not fax or email any other submissions).

To submit: Articles are accepted on a rolling basis; no deadlines apply. If you wish to target a specific issue for publication, please make your submission at least 4 months in advance to ensure the editor will have time to review it. Allow 2 months advance for Space Available submissions. Please print out a hard copy of your submission and mail it to Spirit of Change, PO Box 405, Uxbridge, MA 01569. No electronic or faxed submissions will be reviewed or acknowledged. All hard copy submissions received will be acknowledged. Please allow ample time for response.
